Reclaim Your Get Up and Go in 2020!
Are you off and running in this new year? If not, it is time to reclaim your get up and go! Dr. Shawna Eichens of Rockwood Natural Medicine Clinic joined me this week on The Successful #Soulopreneur Radio Show sponsored by Starshine Communities, to share her philosophy on ramping up your energy level.
According to Dr. E there is no “magic pill” and there are (3) areas on which to focus your attention:
1) Fatigue vs Vitality
- Are you tired all the time? Felling anxious or stressed out? Your mental state and mindset has a lot to do with how you are feeling. The mental, emotional is a huge piece of vitality because if we are in a toxic relationship or think we are unworthy, why would we get well? Plus, our sleep patterns are a big contributor to our vitality.
2) Abnormal Composition of Blood and Lymph
Explained simply, this means that when your cells aren't getting the nutrients they need, this can contribute to fatigue, pain, and emotional issues. This could be iron or B12 or folic acid deficiency. It could be that your diet is not healthy for your genetic makeup which sets off an immune dysfunction and fire alarm for the rest of our system.
3) Accumulation of Waste
Toxic waste can be cigarettes, alcohol, pharmaceuticals, diet, and/or constipation. That's toxicity that is in your system and not being eliminated. But before you go all out on a “cleanse”, Dr. E advises consulting with your medical professional to see what is the best solution for you.
At the end of the day, says Dr. E, if these 3 areas aren't addressed, then you cannot fully heal. That there is no amount of caffeine and no magic supplement that is going to suddenly increase somebody's vitality. It takes addressing these three variables for you to really have a major change in your health.
Dr. E’s best advice to reclaim your get up and go? Realize that you are in control. You are in control of your thoughts, what you put in your mouth, what time you go to bed.
